Teach a Community Education Class
Do you have a passion, expert talent or hobby? If so, Shakopee Community Education would love to have you share your talent, skills and interests with our community!
Shakopee Community Education strives to provide classes, programs and special events to people of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide a wide variety of opportunities to meet the ever-changing needs of our diverse community. Staff will work with you to determine appropriate program details such as days, times and locations; however, instructors are responsible for developing the course content.
Class Submission Deadlines:
- Winter/Spring Catalog(Classes between January 1 - April 30): Submit by September 1
- Summer Catalog (Classes between May 1 - August 31): Submit by December 1
- Fall Catalog (Classes between September 1 - December 31): Submit by June 1

Adult volunteers are needed periodically throughout the year to accompany many of our community events. If you are interested, please contact Melissa Sibinski via Email.
Shakopee Community Education Advisory Council
Mission: Shakopee Community Education is a partnership offering lifelong growth opportunities for everyone in a supportive environment.
The advisory council meets five times throughout the year at the District Office from 4:45-6:15pm.
